為了鼓勵青年學子關心世界議題、投入幫助全人類的行動，由法鼓山人文社會獎助學術基金會推動的「青年領袖願景實踐方案」，贊助「台灣與獅子山願景實踐團隊」於六月六日至十五日在台灣大學內舉辦的「愛飛至獅，愛／非自私」校園系列活動。
「台灣與獅子山願景實踐團隊」由五位台灣學子、二位西非獅子山共和國青年發起，目的是為了幫助久經戰禍的西非獅子山共和國勸募物資。發起成員之一台大國企系吳宣儀同學表示，自己有幸能在去年七月參加法鼓山主辦的「國際青年領袖會議」，進而認識獅子山公益組織創辦者 Sylvanus 等人，瞭解獅子山國內的貧窮、內戰和教育資源短缺等問題。
一年來，兩國共組的青年團隊在法鼓山人基會的贊助下，架設了網路平台，讓世人瞭解獅子山，並積極透過各項勸募活動，提供實質幫助。這次在台大進行的活動內容，包括獅子山共和國的關懷介紹特展、書展義賣，及二手衣物和英文書籍募集活動，將募得物資全數送往西非，幫助獅子山重建社會，也讓來自台灣的愛心，在西非發光發熱！
